STATEMENT OF FAITH
1. We believe the Bible to be the inspired,
the only infallible, authoritative Word of God. Any subsequent visions
or revelations are only acceptable, when they do not contradict the
contextual interpretation of the Scriptures.
2. We believe there is one eternal, almighty and perfect God: Father,
Son and Holy Spirit, who desires a personal, caring relationship with
us as our “ABBA”, interpreted as Father.
3. We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth,
in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death
through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension
to the right hand of the Father and in His personal return in power
and glory.
4. We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful man, confession
of sin, resulting in regeneration by the Holy Spirit, is essential.
5. We believe that the Lord Jesus commanded that all believers follow
Him in obedience in the act of water baptism, preferably by total immersion,
as an outward sign, to the world, of the change within.
6. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling
the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.
7. We believe in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit as taught by Jesus in
Acts 1:8, available to every believer, as a part of the continuous process
of sanctification, which is given with power to be His witnesses and
opens up the receiver to any of the gifts of the Holy Spirit, mentioned
in 1 Corinthians 12: 1-9 and other verses of Scripture.
8. We believe that God never changes, and that Jesus still works miracles
and grants healings, according to His will, through faith in God and,
many times, through the hands of His servants who are willing to obey
Him.
9. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; the
saved unto the resurrection of life, and the lost unto the resurrection
of damnation.
10. We believe in a “no judgment” policy towards others, accepting everyone
as they are, showing the love of God to all, and allowing God to transform
their lives, as His Word and His Spirit deals in each individual life
by the Grace of God. Leaders must still meet the Biblical requirements
and guidelines for elders.
11. We believe in the spiritual unity of all true believers in our Lord
Jesus Christ, regardless of their church or denominational affiliation
or agreement with our particular statement of faith.
